Club Night Stroll - Albert Bridge to Putney Bridge (August 2025)

Nine Ibexers convened at The Prince Albert, some of which arrived early to try out the delicious meals served by the pub. The day had been hot and humid, but by the evening there was a welcome cool breeze, making the walk beside the Thames very pleasant.

Much of this stretch of the river is lined with apartment blocks of all shapes and sizes, looking like an architects' playground in places! By the time Putney Bridge was reached the sun had set and the sky was a nice orange. The walked ended with drinks at The Duke's Head pub in Putney which overlooks the river.
