Join Susan and David for a week or long weekend of winter walking in the mountains around Arrochar in the southern Highlands. Accommodation for the week is a self-catering house in Arrochar sleeping up to 10 in 5 bedrooms. It includes a hot tub! See website for full details.
Participants on this weekend will need to be fully equipped for winter walking in a mountainous environment. This includes having crampons and ice axe, and knowing how to use them.
To apply for this week/long weekend please send an email to Susan via WebCollect to check availability and to arrange a bank transfer for the deposit. After this an application form on WebCollect can be filled in. The deposit of £245.00 covers the full cost of the accommodation (however long you stay). Other costs will include food, transport to Scotland, and share of car hire by non-car owners (applicants needing a lift will be allocated to a hire car). The nearest train station is Tarbet, 2km from the house (day trains and the sleeper service from London stop here). You need to be an Ibex member to apply for this event.
