Blow away the January blues with a weekend on the western edge of the Peak District. After a day on the hills, we’ll stay in our newly refurbished bunkhouse in the hamlet of Upper Hulme near Leek, Staffs. We’ll be based at the foot of the Roaches, a famous gritstone escarpment worn by the weather into fantastic shapes and with magnificent views across the countryside and Tittesworth reservoir. Ye Olde Rock Inn is nearby for Friday-night dinner and post-walk refreshments, as is the Roaches Tearoom if the weather isn’t enticing. Please note that dogs are not allowed at this bunkhouse.

* The deposit covers the accommodation cost if the weekend is full. The balance is the extra accommodation cost if the weekend is not full (up to a cap of £40 per night) plus a share of the communal food.
