The two attractive bunkhouses and the accompanying kitchen/diner/bathroom building are set deep in the Elan Valley with the Cambrian Mountains and impressive Victorian engineering nearby. And they're just 7 miles from the compact market town of Rhayader.
The weekend offers the opportunity to get off grid and recharge with a varied selection of trail walks and mountain bike rides nearby. Further afield is the 752 metre Plynlimon just waiting for those looking for their "mountain day". The track to the accommodation is accessible by nearly all forms of transport, except vehicles with low suspension and low-profile tyres; such vehicles can be parked in a nearby layby however.

* The deposit covers the accommodation cost if the weekend is full. The balance is the extra accommodation cost if the weekend is not full (up to a cap of £40 per night) plus a share of the communal food.
