About the event

Organiser: David Watts

Map: OS Landranger 175

Distance: 20.5 km / 12.5 miles

Start: Maidenhead railway station

Booking deadline: Midnight Thursday 4th September

Join David and Susan for a walk through the countryside west of Maidenhead and along the River Thames to finish up at Henley-on-Thames.

For those travelling by train: Maidenhead is served by GWR trains from London Paddington and also the Elizabeth Line. Henley-on-Thames is on a branch line from Twyford, the latter being one stop on from Maidenhead. Comparing prices of different single/return tickets using 'The Trainline', it appears that buying a return to Henley-on-Thames may be the cheapest option.

Day walks are open to Club Members and Prospective Members alike. There is no charge for attending, but you do need to book with the organiser via the website.

Full joining instructions will be emailed to participants by the organiser after the booking deadline.
