Day Walk: London Loop - Cockfosters to Chingford
Join Dave for a walk covering one of the loveliest sections of the London Loop.

About the event
This day walk will be legs 17 & 18 of the London Loop, i.e. from Cockfosters (end of Piccadilly Line) to Chingford (overground, runs into Liverpool St). That is 13.5 miles, mostly flat, and could be termed "peri-urban", a mix of green spaces and town.
This leg has no "London Loop horrors" (e.g. long stretches besides motorways) and is more green than town, save the stretch through Enfield. Anyone wanting an early exit could leave at Enfield Lock station (9 miles; overground, runs into Moorgate). Estimated start time 10:00 (TBD in final instructions).
Chingford station area has a variety of cafes and bars for ending refreshments and we'll try to schedule the lunch stop near a cafe (TBC - regardless, bring water as well as lunch in case no suitable cafe can be found in middle of day).
