The walk is the London Loop, section 2. It passes through Foots Cray Meadows alongside the River Cray, then to Sidcup Place Park – pub stop possible here. There are the remains of a moated Tudor house in Scadbury Park and the monument to William Willett (campaigner for Summer Time) in Petts Wood. A further pub opportunity at the end.
Day walks are open to Club Members and Prospective Members alike. There is no charge for attending, but you do need to book with the organiser via the website.
