Join a group of Ibexers for a walk in the early Autumn Oxfordshire/Bucks countryside and a trip to the Fingest Walkers Cafe for delicious homemade tea and cakes.

Join Mags for a 15 mile walk starting and finishing at Henley on Thames station (09:08 train from Paddington). The walk combines tow-path walking alongside the mighty river Thames and walking up into beech woods with lovely views down into the Hambledon Valley, through which we return.
Around lunchtime we will stop at Fingest’ Grade I listed church where the village’s excellent bakers will lay on their annual fabulous array of cakes. For a donation of £5 (cash or card) you can buy cakes and unlimited hot drinks, all for the good cause of maintaining the church.
Day walks are open to Club Members and Prospective Members alike. There is no charge for attending, but you do need to book with the organiser via the website.
