What better way to celebrate the King's Birthday than by hiking a section of the King Charles III Coastal Path (formerly England Coastal Path) in Essex. The circular route from/to the seaside town of Shoeburyness (train from London Fenchurch St/Limehouse/West Ham) starts on the beach at Shoeburyness and continues through the MOD "Danger Zone" on the coast before finally looping back through the pretty village of Great Wakering where there may be an opportunity for refreshments or a drink before returning to nearby Shoeburyness.
There is parking available at Shoeburyness railway station.
Day walks are open to Club Members and Prospective Members alike. There is no charge for attending, but you do need to book with the organiser via the website.
Full joining instructions will be emailed to participants by the organiser after the booking deadline.
