If you want to extend the weekend you can stay on the night of Thursday 25th for an additional £17 payable on the weekend. When applying please state if you prefer 2 or 3 nights.

We're staying in "Low House", the comfortable Midland Association of Mountaineers hut 200 meters from the very centre of Coniston. It's equipped with a large communal kitchen, a cosy lounge and toilets and showers. There are 5 rooms with 2 tier bunks. As the hut has 25 spaces we'll be sharing it with any MAM members using it. There is parking for about 8 cars.

There is a wealth of walking from the door of Low House. You can walk straight up onto the Old Man of Coniston and explore the range up to Wetherlam, walk the Cumbria Way past Tarn Howe, go over the Walna Scar Road or down into the Duddon Valley. Langdale and Ambleside are also within a short car drive. We look forward to exploring this lovely area with you.

* The deposit covers the accommodation cost if the weekend is full. The balance is the extra accommodation cost if the weekend is not full (up to a cap of £40 per night) plus a share of the communal food.
