Club Night: Annual Calendar Photo Competition

Come along to catch up with other Ibexers and to get the latest information on upcoming events.

Prospective members are very welcome to attend - it's an ideal opportunity to meet Ibex members and to ask any questions. No booking required, just turn up.

Ibex has the upstairs room from 19:00, with the updates and presentation starting at 20:00. This month it's the annual calendar photo competition. Come and vote for the photos which will appear in the Ibex 2027 calendar.

For anyone wanting to eat before the club night, several Ibex members will be meeting at The Metropolitan Bar (NW1 5LD) next to Baker Street tube station from 17:30. Everyone welcome. Contact David on 07976 358 742 to locate us in the pub.

The rules for submitting photos (from 1st August):

 1. Photos need to be in landscape JPEG format with a resolution greater than 2M, otherwise we may be unable to print them.

 2. Contain at least one Ibex member somewhere in the photo.

 3. Taken on an Ibex event (advertised in the newsletter) after 7th September 2025.

 4. Include the place and month each photo was taken in the file name.

 5. You may submit up to 4 photos.

 6. Where 2 photos are similar the entry received first will be put forward (and another photo can be submitted in its place).

 7. Voting will take place on the Wednesday 9th September Club Night.

Please send your entries (in landscape JPEG format) to president@ibexhillwalkingclub.org.uk by midnight on Sunday 6th September. If your photos are large in size please send each one in a separate email.
