We’re revisiting the Star Bunkhouse and with good reason: wood burning stove, comfy lounge, drying room, bed linen provided and pub opposite, not to mention the walking. The Beacons Way is on the doorstep. Pen y Fan and the rest of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) are a 15 min drive away. Public transport is an option. There is a good service from Paddington to Abergavenny. Buses run from Abergavenny to Bwlch.
