We'll be staying in Glan Dwr Mountain Lodge, located in Capel Curig, right in the heart of Eryi National Park (Snowdonia). The bunkhouse can accommodate 16 people with large, well-equipped communal areas and a drying room. It is nestled between a river and a network of mountain footpaths, allowing for fantastic walking from the doorstep.
The lodge is surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery, crystal-clear lakes (with swimming opportunities) and riverside trails. Nearby walks include Llyn Ogwen, the stunning ascent of Moel Siabod, and routes through the breathtaking Glyderau mountain range. Other nearby attractions include woodland paths, waterfalls, and the charming village of Betwys-y-Coed.
