Come explore the stunning Italian Alps with a group of Ibex!  We are happy to offer a week of chalet-based day walks in the stunning Aosta Valley at the foot of the Italian Alps. Depending on group interest, it may also be possible to plan an overnight route staying in one of the many refugios in the area.  We have booked an entire chalet for up to 12 people (Chalet Vue Cervin Matterhorn) with mountain views and a large outside area to soak up the mountain ambience.

Participants on this week must be a member of Ibex and will need to have adequate travel insurance for alpine hiking and will need to confirm some prior experience with high level mountain hiking. We are not planning to hire mountain guides.

A deposit of £200 covers the cost of the accommodation (and a portion of the car hire costs). Other costs will include food, transport to/from Milan Malpensa airport, and share of car hire not covered with the deposit. Please contact Patrick at treasurer@ibexhillwalkingclub.org.uk for payment details for the deposit.

To facilitate transportation to and from the chalet, we ask all participants to arrive at Milan Malpensa airport by 2pm where we will collect car hires to drive to the chalet. Information on preferred departure times on the 13 September will be provided at the time of booking.
