Achnasheen, Scottish Highlands

This is a week of walking in the Glen Carron area of the Scottish Highlands. David and Susan will be Corbett-bagging, including an optional 3 day/2 night backpacking trip, but there are also many Munros in the area. Accommodation for the week is the Ledgowan Lodge Bunkhouse at Achnasheen, adjacent to the Ledgowan Lodge Hotel. By May 2023, the bunkhouse will have been extended and refurbished with 8 single rooms and a well-equipped kitchen. We will be self-catering. The price per night per person is £38. Book your stay direct with Craig, the hotel owner (cheaper than Booking.com). Rooms are also available in the hotel. To apply for this week book into the bunkhouse and then send an application form to David and Susan. Food costs will be shared by those booked into the bunkhouse. If any cars need to be hired this will be coordinated so as to minimise the cost due to the current high prices. Achnasheen is accessible by train from Inverness.
