Day Walk: Seven Sisters, Kent/Sussex
Join Karen for an early Summer trip to the South Coast for a walk along the iconic Seven Sisters.

Distance: 30 km / 18 miles with a shorter 19.5 / 12 miles option

A fairly strenuous hilly coastal walk (with steep ascents and descents) along the South Downs Way to the end of the Seven Sisters and then a return to Eastbourne. There is a shorter 12-mile linear option to Seaford, leaving the return group when the route splits to Cuckmere Haven inlet. This will need to be self-led, but an OS Mapping map will be provided for navigating (it's a straightforward route). Bring a packed lunch. Ice cream and soft drinks are available at Birling Gap on the return from Seven Sisters, and there is the option of having fish and chips from Harry Ramsdens on the seafront at the end of the walk.
Day walks are open to Club Members and Prospective Members alike. There is no charge for attending, but you do need to book with the organiser.
